Worth
“And the Lord has declared this day
that you are His people,
His treasured possessions as He promised,
and that you are to keep all His commands.”
(Deu.29:18)
I often wondered who I was,
When I was put upon this earth.
I didn’t know why I was here,
Or what my life was worth.
Until one day, I laid life down,
And then began to be,
It wasn’t me I’d been looking for,
But the Son of God, you see.
For as I forgot myself to seek,
I found the self I sought,
For God Himself had purchased me,
By His Son’s life I’d been bought.
